Keshav Shenoy (he/him)
Director of Seminars

Hi, I'm a master’s student from Marietta, Georgia majoring in computer science. I joined EA pretty quickly after realizing how it aligned with my ideas and goals. I'm also a member of Programming Team, Veggie Jackets, and some service clubs. You can talk to me about EA, computer systems, animal welfare, or CS interviews. My meeting link is here.

Pete Rowlett (he/him)
President

I’m a second-year mechanical engineering major from Nashville, Tennessee. I learned about EA through the Intro Seminar, which I heard about via the Veggie Jackets. Within EA, I focus on community building, animal welfare, s-risk, and earning to give. Interests include eating plants, playing ping pong, hiking, running, climbing, philosophy, economics, speaking Spanish, and listening to people talk about things they’re passionate about. Schedule a time to chat here!

Hi! I'm a third-year Materials Science and Engineering major from Boston, MA. I was introduced to EA through the EA Intro Seminar, which I joined to learn more about measuring impact. Recently, I've become interested in biosecurity and materials for medical applications. Some things I like to do for fun: card games, badminton, and reading (I tend to like gothic horror). Feel free to schedule a time to talk here!

Hello! I am a third-year Neuroscience major from Cumming, Georgia. During the Intro Seminar, I was incredibly inspired by how passionate other members were about improving the world. Through many conversations, my beliefs have been challenged and developed. Within EA, I focus mainly on animal welfare and s-risks, but I’m also interested in global heath and community building. In my free time, I enjoy seeking discomfort, writing, dancing, meeting new people, and eating good food. If you’d like to chat or meet, contact me at (404) 270-0806 or cbarrett34@gatech.edu.

Davis McIntire (he/him)
Career Planning Intensive Manager

Hi! I’m a 4th-year MechE major from Newnan, Georgia. Like many other peeps, I was taught to ignore systemic problems for fear of them being paralyzing. That outlook made me feel like I had to make an impossible decision. Through EA @ GT, I’ve learned: A) we can break these big problems into their components, and B) we can start solving them with our careers. I’m grateful to be a part of such an awesome community! And I’m especially interested in helping other people find their path to impact. Reach out to me at 770-828-6126 or through Calendly here!

Alec Harris (he/him)

I’m from New York City and graduated in 2022 studying computer science. EA has always been a big part of my life, and starting EA @ GT has been a blast. I was also in Hack4Impact (national org of Bits of Good) as part of the Social Impact Committee. I was excited to be a research intern at the Center for Human-Compatible AI at UC Berkeley the summer after graduation and am interested in continuing my involvement with AI safety and EA community building in the future. If you think it would be fun to chat, feel free can schedule a time here.
